KR 3-4-5 option bag size
« on: May 13, 2008, 02:44:58 AM »
Anybody happen to know the exact length and width of the KR 3-4-5 option bag (the very bottom of the wheels to the 'tippy' top of the handle)? Nobody has one around here, and I want to see if it will fit in my car's trunk.

Thanks!

I have a Honda Civic Hybrid. Actually, I'm trying to see if I can fit two in there.

Your Civic trunk is about the size of my 1990 Accord trunk and I could put a six ball roller in it. Two inline 3-4-5's should be no problem unless the joey 5 makes it too long. My Hammer 4 ball fits great with enough for a second.

See I have a 6 bag roller I converted into 4, and my brother has a 4 bag roller. NO WAY both of them will fit, so we are both looking to get new bags. I don't want to buy two new bags, and find out only one will fit.

For now, we've been taking the top bag off and bringing a two ball tote.

Do you have a pro shop near by? If the have a larger three ball and see how it fits. They're roughly the same size. Two inlines, even a 4 ball is smaller then one traditional six ball.

Also, you could got with a 3-4-5 and a small tote so you'd have 7 possible balls available.

I have this bag - I can check when I get home.

But I can tell you that I can get it and a 2 ball tote to fit across in the back of a 99 Civic

None of the shops have any 3 bag rollers, they just seem to carry the 2 ball rollers.
One of the reasons I converted my 6 ball bag to 4. I just didn't need the many on a THS.

I wonder if the top bag (4 ball roller) width wise is about the same? Hmm...

The trunk space isn't that small, but I would guesstimate two could fit side-by-side, but you never know...

alcornel: Thanks for checking!
