Circle Shoes
« on: December 22, 2004, 11:02:40 PM »
Two months ago, I brought a pair of Circle Interchangable shoes. Within 6 weeks, the stiching on the "inner" side of the left shoe had come away, splitting the shoe. This is with no more than 6 games a week on them, as I am not playing any tournaments or practicing at the moment. So, I sent them back to the supplier (as I am in the UK, all our equipment comes from a main supplier, as opposed to straight from Circle, in this case), explaining what has happened. It seems to have come from wear and tear, where one shoe slides against the other on my first step. They have sent them back, and apparently, are willing to send me another pair. I am not very keen on this! My SST's I have had well over a year and a half, with no trouble. My questions are really as follows:

1. Has anyone else had this problem with Circle shoes and their stiching?
                    and
2. Am I within my rights to demand a refund rather than a replacement?

If you get the second pair and have the same problem, by all means you should ask for a refund...but not until you try them out. It could have just been a bad stitch.

If you drive your new car for two months and then your window stops working, do you ask for a refund or just your window fixed?
