Dexter Tri-Dex heel question

I currently have been using Dynorooz shoes and have had the best success with the adjust a heel. I have a tendenacy to stick on the front part of a rubber heel. The leather front edge of the adjust a heel solve that problem. I have a chance to get good deal on a pair of Dexter shoes and I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Tri-Dex heel. It doesn't have a front edge and supposedly has a slip agent on the rubber that first makes contact with the approach. Can anyone that's used it give me any insight on it?

I had a pair of Rooz and also used the adjust-a-heel. I bought a pair of sst 6 about 2 years ago wondering the same question. I have been using the tri-dex since. The heel is very versatile and almost seems like it conforms to the way you slide. I was very happy with the way I was able to slide with this heel.

Thanks for the info. I really like the adjust-a-heel and they even slide it gives me but I am going to get the Dexters and will definitely try the Tri-Dex. I hope it workw as well.

is that the 3 colored heel? if so, i love it, i had an old pair of sst6's from 2004/05 that didn't have it, and i had trouble on synthetics with sticking on the front part of the heel, and when i got the new pair of sst6's with the heel, i haven't had a problem at all.

the adjust-a-slide heel that's available for 3G shoes is a great idea and works even better. i'm able to precisely custom tailor my slide. regardless of the kind of deal you got on the dexters i would have stayed with the 3g's and their adjust-a-heel option........it makes that big a difference to me.

I'm not giving up my Dynorooz. It's just a super deal my local distributor has on the Dexters, that I'm getting them as a back up. The only thing I can ever complain about Dynorooz or 3Gs is they don't have a very comfortable footbed but they are as good as gold on everything else!
