Hammer Force shoes
« on: June 09, 2017, 11:03:01 PM »
Trying to find old threads on how everyone likes the Hammer TPU-X shoes, which I think they call "force"... But, let's freshen the feedback. Thinking of getting a pair next month.

Good/bad?
Thanks

The TPU shoes I believe were the Brunswick version, I do not know if they are exactly the same or not
I just got the Hammer force and they were flawless out of the box.
Fit great, soles easy to use
They are very comfortable
I have had SST8 for the last 3-4 years and those were very good...until I put these on

Dave, a few followup questions please... I'm after some red/white/blue ones that will be out next month and look really good.

- The shoes say "interchangeable" online. Are the soles and heels interchangeable?
- I'm not quite sure about the TPU comment - Were there other Hammer shoes before this that might be confusing what I think I'm getting? These say TPU outsole, but I know there was a lot of discussion around shoes called TPU and the Brunswick name associated with it.

Staying with the interchangeable nature, I can't figure out why Bowlingball.com's details for the Force say "interchangeable" followed by "left hand  only, for right hand click here..."   ?

Soles and heels are removeable
But they are lefty, righty specific
The SST8 didn't matter, all soles, heels were interchangeable

I see where the confusion can be. Interchangeable in that context is definitely misleading. I'll be careful to make sure the LE run comes in LH.
I really appreciate the clarification, thanks!
