Shoe sizing
« on: December 29, 2019, 06:07:23 PM »
Does anyone know if you can take a picture of your foot on one of those shoe store scales and have the shoe company tell you what their size would fit you? I want to order a pair of 9s and don't want to grab the wrong size lol

I have no idea, can't hurt to email Dexter and see.

FWIW, my 9s fit the same as my Nike Free tennis shoes I frequently wear, 11.5 to 11.5 no difference.

See, I have size 7, and since my feet are that size, i can't have shoes that are too big.

IDK, But If your talking about a Brannock Device (That's what the scale is called) you would need the measurements off it not a picture of your foot on it.

Here's what Dexter told me when I asked about how my SST7's size compared to the 9's.

"Thank you for your interest in Dexter Bowling! If you wear a size 12M in the SST7's you should stick with that size for THE9's. Our shoes run true to size so whatever size you typically wear in a normal street shoe is what we recommend you purchase in our shoes. "

I wear the same size is Dexter 9s as I did all previous pairs of Dexters I owned.  Also the same size as my strike force branded shoes or my regular tennis shoes.

Your pro shop should be able to order a size seven, and it doesn't fit, send them back for a different size. That's how it works with my local shop.

How much will you save by ordering online?

I think both Buddies and BowlingBall.com offer shoe sizing guarantees for a small fee ($10 or so). I've purchased my last two pairs of shoes from them and used the guarantee once - it was worth it!

Yep, both my 6s and 9s are the same size. Which are the same size as my Hammer Boss shoes and my Pyramid HPU-X shoes. If you have to guess, you should be good to go.

ok what about the 8s and the 9s. i heard that the 9s were a little bot narrower then the 8s. they have a good deal on the 9s ( storm ones)at buddies and i thought about getting them if they were close to the same

The 9s are more narrow than the 8s, but length wise they are the same fit. For my feet the 9s are substantially more comfortable, the 8s felt like a brick strapped to my feet.

Well, I do also agree on that point.

Just e-mail them and in the best case if it is not a huddle for you, just go to the next store and try them on.
