Just curious if anyone has done it. If so what shoe did you use and what did you do on the conversion?
Thanks in advanced!

This topic was brought up before...maybe 6months ago. Yes, a lot of people are doing it. There are some, who are making a nice buck by converting old shoes into bowling shoes. If i remember correctly, some were saying that their is a specific glue that has to be applied on the bowling soles. This "bowling glue" is tougher than cement glue, it has to be, to keep the sole from peeling off. I dont remember the name of this glue. But yes, it`s being done as we speak im sure.

some other people i heard were using strong Velcro and changing the soles and heels as well. just another idea others had.

friend of mine did it with pair of sport shoes going to the specialist... a cobbler.
had the sliding sole glued on the shoe replacing the rubber one (with the right height etc of course) as he has a weak ankle and needed the additional support a normal bowling shoe could no supply
