I love my SST8's  I never was a fan of the 7's at all, plus with all of the quality issues with them, i just never got them.  I got the 8's a few days ago, & i really like them.  Theyre comfortable, they look to be very well made, & they, IMO, look a ton better than the 7's do.

u get less heels with the 8's than the 7's, & 2 r in use at all times(1 for the slide & 1 for the push foot.  This wasnt an issue for me as dexter no longer makes a heel i like, so i use old heels from SST4's.

Just got my 8's and absolutely love them.  Much better than the 5's they are replacing.  Wider base and extremely comfortable.  Don't really mind the lack of heels as I do not switch them very often.  They look good too.  Hope I get the same 7 yrs. from them as I did my 5's.

Does anyone have a comparison between the SST8's and the SST6 LX's?
