Ideas for insole replacement
« on: January 14, 2010, 06:55:54 AM »
Hey all,

I've had my SST6's for around 4 years now and I absolutely love them. Problem is that the insoles have become so worn that its making the shoe fit larger than say 2 years ago. My question is what insole would you suggest to provide the comfort and support needing for bowling but without feeling like I'm steping in jello as I throw the ball? What insoles have you tried/liked/hated etc.?

Thanks,
Jared

I find these (The SofSole Athlete) particularly good, after much searching, after tearing a tendon that wraps around the sole and heel. I used to use Dr. Schol's but these are better and last longer. Around $20. I use them in bowling and all shoes now.

A 2nd SofSole, called the Arch, are even better if you have any need for good arch support.
