Title: Jerseys
Post by: lefty50 on September 19, 2016, 01:59:13 PM
Let's open an updated jersey thread (pun intended).

I need a generic jersey for things like singles and doubles at Nationals. Also would prefer tall size, which I'm finding is a larger problem than anticipated.

Looking for feedback.
Thanks in advance

Whatever some of the storm ones are...some of them run super long.

For example the red/black Mike Fagan argyle I ordered was in a reg 2x, it came like like 3xlt....crazy long. I had to sell it.

Some run long others run short. I bought a large and XL in one style back in January and the ones I got are short

H5G 50 for 50 jerseys are nice. They run big though. I normally wear 2xl and so I ordered. Got it and put tried it on, feels like a 3xl. So I can wear it But it's huge. So for H5G, order a size smaller. Each manufacturer is different. Boom I fit perfectly in a 2xl.

Makes sense. Fagen is lanky.

Most jersey places have an option to add additional length for a few bucks. For example, Apparel EFX (currently my preferred jersey provider) has an option for up to 1",2", or 3" additional length for just a few bucks.

Thanks for the info. I notice that none of the places I've checked have "T" sizes for length, but if can be added, that's exactly what I want.
Logo Infusion seems reasonably priced. H5G seems pretty high (although the 50 under 50 looks very interesting), and Apparel EFX right in the middle. Everyone's had good experiences?

Logo Infusion is great. I've only ordered from them and Boom Apparel. Boom Apparel's jerseys are good, but their service is terrible. And they are extremely slow. A local bowler was on staff with them and even she was getting the shaft. Now she's with Logo Infusion. Funny thing was that I was ordering jerseys from Logo Infusion before and she got me to get some Boom jerseys.

I have used the majority of them; h5g,logo infusion, apparel efx, boom, Gemini...

By far my best experience has been Apparel EFX. The prices are very fair, but more importantly, they are very quick to respond and send proofs fast. For me, I typically order online and will have a proof within a few hours. Most impressive was the proof was very well designed and required little to no modification. The people there seem very creative.

Logo Infusion is definitely one of the best priced, but they charge $10 for a digital proof which really annoys me. Without the proof, you will get very basic logos, etc. and are stuck with what they send. Also was a few days wait just to get the proof, then had lots of modifications. Glad I spent the extra $10 for the proof, but otherwise, wasn't very impressed. Jersey was nice and material is nice. Not bad if just looking for something quick and are willing to go with one of their stock designs.

H5G makes great jerseys, used them for 25+ jerseys for nationals and some personal jerseys, but takes a fair amount of time to get them, and if you want customization, email chains tend to take a while. Not to mention, they are definitely more pricey.

The others aren't really worth mentioning. Check out Apparel EFX in my opinion. They also do special designs on facebook every so often for $59 shipped with logo and name. Its a killer deal.

Apparel EFX stuff is the best!  Look into them and you will not be dissappointed!

I actually sent a note to EFX and got an answer back in less than 5 minutes... Unheard of! That earns at least a shot in my book. I'm actually not a huge fan of the designs, except one memorial design that I'm going to order, but between response and the option to add length, I'll be placing an order to see what happens.
