Black tape question
« on: January 15, 2008, 07:40:49 AM »
Anybody use black tape in the front of the thumbhole? I may have to do this since when its cold, my hands take a long time to warm up, thus my thumb remains moist until it warms up and dries out. I have a problem with the front of the thumbhole being tacky.

I use black tape on the front or pad side of the thumbhole, due to slightly oval shaped thumb, and the black tape allows comfortable feel, and no tackiness to cause release issues.

Never use black tape in the front of the ball. If you get your thumb wet from perspiration you will drop the ball from slipping from your thumb.

I don't agree. Not much different then a plastic slug and I don't see people dropping them.

I use black tape in front and back of oval hole. Smoother release then white and it is easier for me to get a firm fit without worrying about the ball hanging on my thumb like with white tape.
