Post by: tloy on February 19, 2018, 08:19:25 AM
Looking for opinions on this bag from people that have it. This is the 4 ball Stackable roller with the 7 yr warranty. Thank you

I had a Brunswick stacking 4  ball roller, and I hated it. I guess if you just go to league it might be fine, but if you go to a tournament setting and the alley has multiple stairs to the lanes, and/or you have to navigate around tons of other bowlers and their equipment it is just too bulky. I apologize for the run on sentence.

In my experience any bag made by KR is good. Can't say that about many companies these days, and as an added bonus their customer support/warranty process is great too. If the pockets are spacious enough for your needs I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I agree with the above though. No more double-wide bags for me. They're too much of a pain navigating around any kind of crowd. KR does have the Royal Flush4x4 Roller now which is kind of interesting. Not sure about the balance of lifting that in and out of the vehicle though. I wouldn't think the balance of that action is very user-friendly.

I have this bag and I love it. It is very stable. the pockets are many and very large. It can hold everything I want and I carry a lot of accessories. I also have zero problems lifting it into my car trunk and I am 55 years old.

I have the KR Lane Rover 4 ball roller from a few years ago which has basically the same specifications as the Royal Flush.
I bought it new and used it a few times, did not care for it because it was overall to tall and the handle was way to long/high. I put it away and went back to a 3 ball roller with a joey.
Now I have recently had a heart pacemaker installed and have lifting restrictions.  Pulled out the Land Rover once again and now I can't stand it up in my SUV because of the height/handle. I have to lay it down which is a pain to deal with.
Just ordered the Storm Rolling Thunder 4 ball roller.  This bag eliminates all the complaints I have with the Lane Rover which for me would be the same with the Royal Flush bag..

Thank you all :)

Kegler300800,

How long have you had the 4x4 inline? I was on the fence between this one and the 4 ball stackable and Buddies talked me out of it. In the meantime UPS has lost/damaged my 4 ball roller. May get the inline instead. Let me know + and - of the bag. Thank you

Todd

Todd,

I got the 4x4 inline they day it came out. The biggest pro is that its easier to get through crowds at the bowling alley. The inline is about as wide as a typical person. The pockets are big and good. The balls stay in place. I find it easy to lift into the back of my Dodge Dart.

I don't really have any negatives right now. Nothing has fallen apart and I have had it since July.

The KR 4 ball stackable rollers are very durable.  I purchased another 4 ball roller after my previous one wore out.  I did get 23 years out of the old one.
