Now that Linds has been bought by KR, How do todays Linds compare to those from 15 years ago ? I am due for a new pair of shoes and Linds are all I have ever used . Always liked the consistant slide and I dont know if I want all the variable sole / heel combos , but I am open to suggestions

Once you go Dexter, you never go back to Linds. Linds got cheap and I moved to Dexter. Not even going to consider going back to Linds since Dexter shoes are so comfortable.

I have a pair of Linds, I think they are comfortable and well made.

It might be too soon to tell.
Linds had been made in America for a long time. Sometime ago they were forced by competition and rising labor costs to do what the other shoe manufactirers did a long time ago - move their manufacturing overseas. For a while it was Mexico, then it was China, I thought they had returned to the USA, but i'm not sure. Now that they've bene bought by KR, who knows what the brand will bring.
At one point, whe they were made in USA, I had a pair for 15+ years and you couldn't kill them. That's when they came with circular inserts of different skid/slide traits and you could adjust the slide a lot of ways. It preceded the Dexter and 900G/Dynothane slide soles by many years.
Dexter took a long, long time to get their quality control to the point where you didn't need to throw away disintegrating shoes after 3 months of wear. I did such with Dexter V - threw them away after 3 months - complete garbage. My Dexter Viii (8s) were much better. However LR made a much better, more comfortable shoe, first marketed under the Brunswick name, and now under the Hammer and Pyramid (I believe) name .

Been out of the game for 25yrs and just got back last fall. Being lefty there were no all white shoe options available. So currently have a pair of Hammer Performamce in black with orange accent. I just ordered a pair of semi-custom Linds in..........all white. Right now waiting for them to arrive maybe in time for the last two months of the season. Will confirm when I have them in hand and on foot.

It looks like someone is trying to market the original style Linds from years ago. Will have to wait and see the quality and performance of said shoe. Let us know how they work for you.
