Looking for shoe recommendations
« on: November 11, 2018, 05:03:56 PM »
I'm in the market for new shoes, and I'm a toe dragger. I am currently using the Brunswick TPU-X, and previously had a couple pairs of 900 Tour Ultras. All of these I destroyed the toe caps. I'm thinking of the gold /black Dexter Hybrids as my next shoe

Any one have these and are toe draggers? How's the durability of the toe cap? Any other toe draggers that can recommend a durable shoe?

I had the TPU-X and liked them but as a toe dragger I killed them pretty fast. I went back to the Dexter SST 8 Pro and have liked them a lot. I like the wider toe box of Dexter shoes better. I've had them for over a year so far and expect to have them for at least another year based on the durability I've seen probably longer

ordering a pair of Hammer Boss's to see if theyre an upgraded Force but for now Dexter 9's H.T. It stands up to toe dragging and you can remove the sole a whole lot easier.

Did you have any issues with the Hammer Forces?

Thanks for the responses, I'll be looking into the HT's as well.

The Force's were better than the TPU-Xs as far as toe dragging but slightly. The Boss's have a plastic overlay that protects the toe sole from separating which the Force's do not have and they are a bit more comfortable than the HT's. Currently have the Blk Carbon Force's, Dexter HT 9's, Dexter BOA(t)'s and ordering a pair of White Forces and Boss's. I like keeping shoes in rotation lol

The Forces are the ones made by KR which are like the old Linds aren’t they?

@AlonzoHarris Yeah! I agree with you on this point.

They are pretty much jus the old Linds. At least they appear like those to me ;)
