My modification of the Brunswick TPU-X bowling shoe, TP3 rubber push off sole.
The edge of the sole would drag and the velcro would no longer stick to the shoe, KR sent me a replacement and said to just fudge it over a little away from the edge to stop it.
I thought I could do something better.

interesting idea; may have to check it out on the recently (as of today) retired SST8s; as I have a very similar issue that caused me switch back to Tour Ultras

Nice fix.

Mine did they same thing. Why can't the shoe company's not make a sole for toe draggers.Seems so simple.I had a left over 10 felt sole and cut it off to fit.Problem solved.

I couldn't do this. I use the entire length of the traction aspect of my push off shoe and the leather tip would force my foot to slip out from under me on push offs.
My original Linds customs had the circle cutouts where I put the rubber tabs in. Then progressed to the Tour Ultras with the complete rubber sole and now the TPU-Xs. I would have probably super glued the piece on and called it a day.

Nice modification, and I can see where it works for your situation. In my case, I had a strip of thicker black leather cemented around the front toe by a shoe repair shop. I didn't have to cut down my traction sole. It looks like an extension of the shoe and has held up for several hundred games.
KR doesn't do these cheap and effective mods because of built in obsolescence. They want you to buy a new pair every 1-2 years.

BRAVO!!!! That was an awesome solution. Now if they would only make the white version of this shoe for LEFTIES!! I thought only Scotty Cameron discriminated against LEFTIES!!!

Amen to that!!!!
