Title: Neotac Control It
Post by: MrBungle on February 03, 2007, 06:38:46 AM
Anyone ever use this stuff or any neotac stuff? I got a bottle of control it and applied 2 coats as the bottle directed. I notice no difference in shine. I'm gonna give it one more coat and remove it with a polish ball and see what happens.

If i remember correctly, i think someone here before, said that Neotac products are usually only good on a spinnner. Meaning they work the best if used on one. Everything works best on a spinner of course, but i think someone said Neotac can only work best on a spinner. Hope this helps, and if im wrong, correct me please someone.

I've used neo-tac HOOK IT cleaner. It works real good. Makes the ball tacky again.
Plus it gets some oil out of the cover.

control it is suppose to give skid and distance. But I think to get that mirrorlike shine you need to use the spinner.

Were you expecting some change in the surface of an already polished ball?

Control-It does not seem to work by adding degrees of shine; it seems to work by doing a certain amount of pore clogging (the less a resin ball absorbs, the less it will hook in general, but not always). So do not say it does not work until you check the ball's reaction. It may alos use something called a slip agent which makes a ball's surface less grippy, less tacky than a normal polish.

Besides using other Neo-Tack products has nothing to do with how Control-It works. I have used it and only really like one other Neo-Tac product, a cleaner called Liquid Nitro.

Control-it will add some shine to a dull ball and will add more shine when used with a spinner, but I do not think its effectiveness is linked to the necessity of using it with a spinner.

Try it!

I've only used Liquid Nitro, works great, but didn't like spending 10.00 or more on a 7oz bottle.. It did work though..

A spinner just spins the ball really fast i'm guessing? lol stupid question. So when it's in the spinner, how do you apply the stuff?

For any liquid, polish or cleaner, ALWAYS follow the directions. It's as easy as that.
