Any other colors? I miss the all black ones. My SST-6's are just about done and I don't really like the design of the current ones.

Their color choices are usually terrible. You can take them to a shoe maker that does leather dyeing. I had my last pair done all black.

Most if not all of the U.S. release high performance shoes look like crap. I literally think they hate bowling when they they design these shoes.

Make some with the shade of green that is on the Chevy Camaro. That would sell... well to me at least.

Listen Yaw, my distributor brought a pair of these by the shop a couple weeks ago. Don't let the pics scare ya because these shoes look amazing. This will be one of the best looking sst's they've ever made....
Glad they didn't replicate the tanks because they were like walking on a board!

The flat black looks great, but like a lot of others, I hate gold.

Yes a flat black would be nice. Throwing those random ass colors on the shoes just annoys me. If anything they should at least offer multiple choices. Or bring back the original SST 6's ;D

When it comes to high performance shoes, there is very few left. Dynothane/3G is almost non existent. Dexter buts out one new crappy color every year. Etonic is gone, although it looks like they are making shoes for Brunswick, now. Linds hasn't made a new shoe since the 80's but still charges a premium price for glamourized house shoes.
They can but out 10 new balls every week, but shoes............Nope.

I just got a new pair of SST-8 in the wide width love them I got the blue ones liked the red too not so sure about the new gold.

I guess I must be an exception. I want something besides all black. I wear black dress shoes to work every day.
I like being able to express a little style with bowling shoes, and that's what they are marketing to I assume.
I wouldn't do gold, but I know a team mate of mine who will prob order a pair of these.

Even though they dont have changable soles these look super comfortable and unlike most of Dexters stuff they're not but ugly. I may have to get a pair for league and just use my 3G's for tourny's.

Is late june still the release date for these or is it going to be adjusted after the Bowl Expo? Needing new shoes badly and would prefer these over some of the other stuff out.

I believe the date is June 24th. I haven't heard of a change.

Has anyone heard any more on these? A while back Buddies Pro Shop had them as a "pre-order" option. Now there is no mention of pre-order....yet on the Dexter website, they do not show those? Can they be ordered via Buddies?

I just got mines in the mail and they look better than pictured. I am actually impressed. Ordered mines through bowling.com and it got her around 4 days. I assume they feel just like the previous ones released.

Oh good to know. Thanks! I recently had to have a surgery and may have to learn and try to bowl left handed, so might have to consider shoes like these. I really like my SST6's, but this will allow me to have a good pair of shoes and be able to try to bowl lefty. I hope to find out my rehab status next week.
