Title: Polishing a ball

how long do you let the polish sit for... i have just started to take care of all of my balls and i was wondering you know for how long to let the polish sit..

Machine (medium oil)
Desert Heat (light oil)
Ambush (used for spares - any condition)

I go in :30 steps/half with about a quarter sized puddle on a corrugated foam pad and keep adding steps until it looks like I want. Compound finish I use a medium cut automotive polish such as Meguiars Medium cut and high shine I use Track Magic Shine. Compound I start with gray scotchbrite and high shine 3000 tri-zact or 4000 abralon.

yeah - im using black magic xl and it works really nicely for me.. i just have to apply the polish - rub it in - and i let it sit for about 5 minutes and then wipe off thoroughly until it's off and then its done..

Do you have a spinner or access to one or do you do it by hand?

I've heard of Black Magic; never heard of BlackMagic XL.

What kind of polish is it?
Does your can/jar look like any of these:

never - it is the plus << - just a different name. they upgraded names in the last month or so..

also - i do it by hand - dont have access to a spinner, yet.
