Questions about Turbo 2-N-1 Grips Slim Triple Tote
« on: January 15, 2012, 02:53:52 AM »
So I thought about replacing my 4 ball stackable bag this week to get a slim triple tote bag and I noticed some bowlers in my town has the Turbo 3 ball tote. For anyone on here who has it, I just have a few questions about it, any pros and/or cons would be helpful.

1. How much extra stuff can you put inside the detachable shoe compartment that comes with the tote? I was hoping that it's big enough to fit my shoes, wrist support and a towel in it.

2. Does it keep the balls securely in it without them moving around alot?

3. How durable is the pull straps and does it roll pretty good?

The Turbo 3 ball totes are a great way to travel with the removable shoe pouch. The detachable shoe compartment will fit a size 15 shoes (which is what I wear) with extra room for your accessory bag. The balls are definately secured in the bag without much room for movement at all. I abuse my bags a little bit since I travel to a lot of tourneys and these bags deftinately hold up better than most 3 ball rolling bags... this is why I have converted using the Turbo & Hammer 3 ball tote bags instead of the usual 3 ball rollers. These are easy to travel on the plane and easier to move in the bowling center & cost a fraction less than the other ball bags.

I hope this helps your decision... you will not be disappointed.

another one to consider are the Vise triple totes. they also come with a detatchable shoe pouch option, clear top and the balls dont move at all. they roll great and the straps havent broke on mine in the 4 years i have had mine traveling to tournaments across the country. it comes with a 5 year warranty so if airlines break a zipper or something there no worry about replacing it. another plus is that with 3 15lb balls it weighs roughly 48.5lbs and you can just carry on the shoe pouch for airlines with a 50lb limit

I was looking at the Vise 3 ball bags over the weekend, was at a tournament and noticed alot of guys having that bag. For some reason, because the Turbo bag's wheels are up high, I almost like that better though the red and black Vise bags are nice, too.
