Title: Quick question about mongoose lifter
Post by: GaryPham on April 18, 2007, 09:50:32 AM
Hi guys, I recently just received a mongoose lifter but am a little confused about  where the little strap infront is suppose to go?  I'm assuming that it just loops around the pinky, ring, and middle fingers correct?  If someone can confirm for me that would be great since I haven't used that many different wrist supports before and am not completely sure on how to use this one.

The package shows all four fingers under the strap, but most everyone I know just use the middle and ring finger. To me it's more comfortable that way, but I suppose you could wear it any way that works for you.

also another quick question.  When using wrist supports, is a glove liner usually necessary?  Or do most people just use the wrist support right on their hand without a liner?

I've never seen a liner used with the Mongoose. Other wrist positioners, maybe, but usually they're for comfort and to absorb perspiration. Since the Mongoose Lifter leaves the hand open to the air, I wouldn't need one...

When I used to use a Mongoose, I only put the middle and ring fingers through the strap.

I used to wear a tennis sweat band underneath, just for comfort and absorb a bit of sweat.

I also bent the support a little to give me the cupped position I required.
