Shoe Repair...
« on: November 07, 2005, 03:04:28 AM »
Ok, so I have a pair of SST 6 LX's and the top metal eyelet on the left shoe came out. The little things on the back that bend to hold it on the shoe broke. Is there any place that I can get one of these eyelets and fix the shoes?? I dont know of any shoe repair places in my area that could fix them. Any help??

Rock,

Go to the yellow pages and look up boot and shoe repair. You can also look up cobblers. I think you will be surprised at how many are around you. I had a pair of hiking boots that an eyelet came out of and took to one of these places and they fixed me right up. Hope this helps.

Tracy,

Can you tell me how much it cost you to get the repair done??

I cant imagine it costing much more than a few bucks.

It's been awhile but I think it was around a couple of dollars. For sure not over 5 bucks.
