ok i am thinking of taking a pair of chuck taylor shoes and attaching a slide and heel from a dexter shoe to them. is this illegal in anyway and if i made them would i be able to wear them during league play? please help me with any information you might have!

Perfectly legal. I converted a pair of Sauconys back in the day that were the most comfortable bowling shoes I've ever worn.
