The softest inserts I know of is the soft white Contour Power Grips. I have tried many different grips, but since I have used these for years no other grip is as soft or comfortable. Even grips other companies claim are their "soft" grips are no comparison. Just for information, there used to be some silicone grips around that were softer, but had to be glued in using commercial silicone and had to cure for something like 48 hours before use. Oh, they wore out almost that fast too.

No idea about where to buy on the internet, since I get mine from the local proshop through the local bowling supply company.

Are the vise grips that are on ebay for .99 cent any good? Are they a cheaper style than what's on these websites?

I use Vise because i like them and my proshop guy is on staff with them so thats what he stocks.  He will order you anything else though if you just ask.  Back to your question which are the softest not vise, Turbo grips are definitely softer than vise and I don't know about contour or any other brands and I beleive vise and turbo are the two biggest companys.  Also a point to consider the softer the grip the shorter the life span and quicker you have to replace them.  Vise aren't the softest but they are comfortable by all means and last a long time.

I use the grips that Tex was talking about and I would really like it if some pro shop or distributer had some laying around on a back shelf.  I know most people didn't like them because they didn't last, but I've been re-cycling mine for about five years now.  I guess I don't put that much force on them.
So, If anyone has any, let me know.

I''ve tried Tenth Frame, Vise-Grips, Turbo and Pro Sports (Contour Power), and I think the Pro Sports Contour Power grips: super-softs are the softest.

I've found this place to be very inexpensive, 99 cents each. They get delivered quickly but then they're in NY and I'm in NJ. They use USPS priority and it's 3 day shipping. Be careful as they come in ovals and pitched (1/4" lip).

Yeah the Turbo Ice grips (clear ones) are very very soft I am thinking of changing all of my balls over to these.  I use Vise now and I am happy but reg. turbo not just the clear are softer than all vice grips in general.  I personally can't speak for the other companys just these two.  Just remember the softer they are the quicker they wear out and the more often they will need to be replaced.

I originally posted this in Oct. and since then, I have been using Tenth Frame inserts. They are not the softest, but they are very comfy. I use these in all my equipment.

I'm all natural. It feels so good by itself, and you don't need to change grips every month.

i used contour power grips 10 years ago and they were much harder than vise grips. i also tried turbo 2-n-1 sof-t grips-----way too sft, almost mushy. i got a free pair of tenth frame----didn't care for them. they were too thin and the quality seemed cheap. until recently, vise grips was the only brand that came in half sizes---great if you're picky about the feel like me. they are very comfortable as well.

Change grips every month?? HuH?? I have had my tenth frame grips in one of my balls for over 10 months now and they are still in great shape.
