Question about Tour Ultras and SST's
« on: September 25, 2012, 05:35:35 AM »
I'm left handed and am struggling to find anything that I like. I wanted to grab a pair of SST6LX's or SST7LX's. Nothing LH. Wanted a pair of 3G Tour Ultras, black/silver or white/silver. NOTHING. Do they even exist??

In Dexters you have to get the 8's. They as come as right hand shoes. but are easily swapped to right handed. My good friend is a lefty and runs the 3G tours, they are out there!

It stinks. I used to have 6 and 7 lx's and loved em. I think the 8s look quite lame. I also used to have the ultras black and silver , loved them. And I like the way the white and silvers look. I just can't locate them anywhere. Its mind numbing.

Awe, dangit. It's as I suspected. At least I got the conformation though. Thanks for the info, and the link!

If you bowl regionals, please remember that 3G shoes are no longer PBA approved.  There is a grace period until November 1st, but cannot be used after that date.

The storm shoes are also Dexters. Curious to see how similar they will be.

I had the original ABS shoes (now 3G) had the hardest time finding shoes in my size ( RH 10-1/2) .  It appears 3G was backed up in production.  I received a follow up email from BLOCKBUSTER BOWLING who informed me they received their stock order and I was able to receive my shoes just this past Friday after 3-4 week search.  Alex Romo was good to work with, drop him an email at: blockbusterbowling@earthlink.net.  Good Luck.

Check ebay once or twice a week...  I got a couple used pair of sst6 (maroon and blue) for prolly 90ish total!   Both are in AWOMSE shape! The maroons i swear got wore 18 times and put away... Lol I too have a hard time finding something i like. Mostly I don't like breaking in new shoes...

I guess I'm not reading like others here. I think the poster is looking for a LH shoe with specific color combinations! He (You) could get the 3G Tour Ultra LH and use a silver sharpie to change the trim (stripes) on ths side unless you are a PBA member and want to use them in a tournament. I think the closest shoe in the color comb. would be the Storm SP 2 900 Black/Grey/Silver. It is a L/RH comb shoe. The only drawback on the color is the green on the edge of the heel/sole on the non slide shoe which could be changed with a black sharpie  ;D
Being with The Oakland Raiders this is the only color combination I've worn since the mid 70's Linds customs, Custom ABS direct from Japan, a pair of ABS NV-4 not available here in the states and finally the Storm brand!!!!!!!!!

Wow, thanks for all the response guys! I truly appreciate it. I will be dropping Mr. Romo an Email. And yeah, finding a specific model of shoe LH size 10 1/2 to 11 is near impossible lol.
