shoe's

Are the shoe's that you can change the heels and the soles really worth the money? I thought about buying a pair in the future but I wanted to find more about them before I buy them?

Originally I was thinking exactly like OmegaBowler but then I started thinking that perhaps the bowlers who plant may want to change if they find the approaches too slippery for them.  After all, they dont want to slide or at least only a reduced amount.  Waiting to hear from one of you.

Edited to add:

So to summarize, shoes with interchangeable heels, soles, or pucks allow the bowler to adjust his/her slide to the approach conditions they encounter to maximize it to their comfort level.

In a word, YES.
They are worth it.
I watched a guy one night step on a piece of pizza that was left under the seat after a birthday party. He peeled his sole off, threw it in the trash, and found another sole.
I had a vision that if it had been my Linds, I would have had to replace the pair of shoes.
I went out the next week and bought Dexter SST V.
And I had worn linds since 1974!

I had the same thing happen to me the other day.  I sat down at a table to get my shoes on and noticed something strange.  Someone had spilled a coke under the table.  The bottom of my slide sock was drenched.  Went it to the shop and pulled another one off the rack, called for a lane attendant and went to bowling. When I got home I threw the slide sock in the washing machine. I wear Lind's Classics and if I relied on just the shoe I would of had a major problem.  How ever you have Interchangeable shoe bottoms they are definitely fantastic when these kind of problems arise.
