This is not a post to bash the quality or performance of the new 3G gray and burgandy(haha) ultras BUT, the pair I got did not come close to resembling any picture I have seen online. The burgandy color would more aptly be called frosted metallic pink and there sure is alot of it. I've got nothing against pink, but I can only imagine the grief I would get from my teamates. My pro shop guy, as he was laughing, said he had ordered one other pair so far and they were also frosty pink.

but . . . but . . .
only real men dare to wear pink

My buddy has just received his pair a week ago, they looked almost a burnt orange color in the catalog, the box said burgundy and....Yes they are the frosty metallic pink as you say...He's been getting a bashing over it(all in fun)...But yes they need to reconsider the color description....

there is something to be said for a pair of classy looking, black bowling shoes like my 3g tour ultra's. i'll take black any day over some "iffy" color combo........

I have both the tour ultras and the sport ultras in both colors mentioned. The sports "red" is a
darker burgundy color and I've had those for over 3 years. I just picked up the new tour ultras fro. Tekneek and although it is a lighter shade of red than the burgundy, I don't think it looks pink. More of a lighter metallic burgundy. I love the look and feel of these shoes.

StormBowler83, I'll give you that I interchanged "burgandy" for "wine". There are at least 3 people-myself, my pro shop guy who is a silver level coach, and TKelly who have said these shoes are pink. Let me offer 3 possible solutions:
1) you have never seen a pair of this model in person
2) you are a jerk
3) you are a jerk
my money is on all of the above
