Dexter SST 6 LZ sizing vs SST 4/5/Tanks
« on: May 05, 2015, 11:01:42 PM »
Was wondering how the SST 6's compare to the SST 4/5/Tank...do they run a little bigger?

Looks like the SST 6's have a wider/square toe base and am thinking it might run a 1/2 size bigger (basing off my experience with square-toe dress shoes and trying on some of Skechers casual shoes that look very similar to the SST 6's). Just wanted to get your opinion before ordering since my pro shop doesn't carry a lot of sizes. Thanks!

I just bought a pair of the SST 6's and they run true to size. I wear 10.5's in my tennis shoes and dress shoes and the Dexter's fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and I haven't had any break in issues.

I am on my 2 pair of SST 6's.  Love those.  I have not had the others so I cannot give a comparison, however the 6's have been a good fit for me.  They fit the same as all my other shoes.  I am curious about the Tank's.  I like what I see in the push off side and how the sole and toe seem to blend into 1....as I am a bit of a toe dragger.  However my 6's are only about 6 months old.  My last 6's lasted about 5 seasons, so who knows what will be available when the current pair are due for renewal.

The SST tanks are comfortable, great, and feels very solid. I too am an occasional toe dragger and have not been able to use the SST 8's without a bit of anxiety...thus my best options were the Tank and the SST 6's out of the current available Dexter shoes.

Looking to try the SST 6's since they have a been a staple for bowlers for many years and it looks comfy.
