Title: wrist braces
Post by: xrayjay on March 17, 2011, 02:43:12 AM
I'm in the market for a wrist brace, it's something I want to try over the summer (experiment). The ones I was looking at were the Robby's 2, Gizmo, and Gadget. Of the three, which is the best as for as comfort, quality, and function ability. I'm not a pro, but I am able to adjust hand position to change my roll, axis, la di da di da.....but, consistency starts to fade away after back to back squads, or back to back days of bowling. (gives me much more respect for those pros that bowl 20-50 games in a week!). Anyway, of the three, which do you all recommend I should try out. Thanks in advance....

If your pro shop will let you, try the Ebonite brace with the long index finger.  I had the Robby's and switched to the Ebonite because it  gives me more side rotation with a resulting better finish.

Anyway, it works better for me.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the PM's.....

Well, I ordered the Gadget..only because it doesn't completely keep my hand/wrist locked. I'll start working next month, and I'll probably tweak my span/thumb pitch as well....
