Come one come all see the sucker fish the amazing Pin Kisser claw it out with Mike DeSucketh for last place. It's not pretty but it's like a horrible train wreck.
You just cannot stop watching. I know I'm hooked.

Next week the new and improved Vegas style over/under proposition odds.

For now post them here ladies and so far sucking gentlemen.

PK - Hanging judge potent something or other will eventually rule on your dress code request or just ignore it like he has so far. It's out of my hands.

But if you need a name change on a member of the site I might be able to get it done. Witness my new disciple ZMan Owns Me.

Ed - Nothing to be nervous about at bowling. Go out have fun that's what is the most important. after all you and a vast amount of us are bowling in handicap leagues. Just have fun and you will.
Don't stress the scores especially early. It will get better. Or it won't and you can still have a great time.

Oh contraire, oh riled one.
I have but a year or two more experience than you and you know how much faster girls mature than boys do.
While I have been bowling recreationally since high school, using my dad's old 16 lb. Manhattan Rubber bowling ball(drilled for him), I didn't join a regular league (couples once-a-month league) until 1994.
Then in 1997 I joined an every-other week league. It was a for fun, beer-drinking, work league.
It wasn't until 1999 that I joined a weekly men's league with the express purpose of having fun and getting better.

Sorry if I ruffled your fur, it was all in fun.
You are truly a better bowler than I am.

Zman - thanks for the info.

HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had 20 years experiance bowling.......
If I were to sit down and count it out, I would say I have maybe....let me repeat, maybe 3 years in this sport, the first 2 1/2 years being waaaaaaay back when I was 22, and I know I was 6 sheets to the wind back then in my party days, so I dont think we can really count that time in my life.....(Ragal Lanes, Orange Cali., may she rest in peace)

So what it really comes down to is, I have 6 months of real experiance in this sport. I am refering to actual time triing to learn the game and improve my skills............

Now that I reflect on all that.....I feel darn good with my scores thus far, and look forward to showing you all, that an old dog CAN learn new tricks, and not hang around to bottom to long.......hahahahahaha

nuff said.......

LMAO, is this new math, PKSuckerFish?  Let's see, 35 minus 18 = 17.  5/2000 from 9/2003 = 3.33.  Although you have only bowled league a year longer than I have, you have about 5 times the actual bowling experience since you bowled recreational about 13 years to my 7 months.  Yeah, yeah, I know, you didn't learn anything 'cause it was just for fun.

I'll have you know my fur is very neat and tidy even if very long. Sniff.

Maybe you'll even learn to adjust to my dry sense of humour.  Good thing you're not a lefty or adjustments would be impossible for you.

Roo - Just checking!

Ed - Yes, quite well indeed.
I think I started with a 136 average just "chucking it as hard as I could."
While I am learning, I feel that I am my own worst enemy.
Even when I find a shot, I adjust after I throw 1 or 2 bad balls.
Can't learn anything that way.

Anyway, on to next week!

I'm going to enter scores from only one of my three leagues, since I don't see anyone posting more than one series per week.

Sunday AM (9/14):

238-170-191 = 599

No DPLs, since it's a junior/adult league, and especially since I bowled against my husband and son today.

RooCat, say it ain't so, you're not a lefty basher.

Debs, I am only using my Wednesday league this year, the same one I'm using for the BFDT.  Also my scores can be verified, if anyone wants to check at www.leaguesecretary.com/vegasgetaway/default.asp .  I did use Thursday for the 1st week, then decided I didn't want to use my home center.

Me?  Never!    I actually bowl with 3 of them on my Thur. team and 1 on my Sunday team.  Of course, it was rather funny Thursday when a 4th lefty was on the opposing team.  At least "my lefties" were used to having to adjust (there's that evil word again) for each other, the anchor of the other team had no such experience since "my lefties" include a stroker, a cranker and a lofter.  Poor guy had more tracks on his side than he knew what to do with.  It was very sad for him.  I think his average took a nose dive that night.

LOL RooCat.  One team I was on last year had 3 of us lefties, and it was interesting when we came up against another team with any lefties.  It really hurts the poor opposing lefty  Personally, I'd rather come up against other lefties than backup bowlers.

Whoohoooooo!  Check me out I scored again......twice!  Make that 2 CPL's and to top that off I'm bowling in a dude's league (can't say "men's league" because there are no real men in bowling).  Bowling scores???? Who cares its all about scoring with the chicks.   One chick offered to buy me a drink so there has to be a multiplication factor involved in that.   The other chick told me that I throw a manly ball, yes she said it........MANLY!   These were spectator chicks since there actually are no chicks in our league and who else were they spectating at, why, none other than the Mightiness that I Peach.

I did join a dude's league this year in hopes of having competition in CPL/DPL.  The last 2 years I spanked the heck out of all of you.  If I don't have any competition from any of you this year while I am in a dude's league, then its time for your bowlers to turn gay, unless you already are.  Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Bowling scores, although irrelevant, were 158-132-185 = 475

pchee2<~~~strokin the ball with cranker revs and spraying the lanes for an average of a buck 62.  This guy is full of STUFF!
