No 600, but no 400 either.  The only thing I can say was the 200+ bowlers were struggling more than I was  203-176-183=562 and no DPL.

Im feeling pretty darn good about life right now. Sunday night league, I noticed these wood lanes are making me focus on accuracy, so I got brave (for me) and moved my target to the 6 board and the Icon liked it, so at last nights mens league I tried it again. To make a long story short, I am getting it back.
This can be good or bad, since I will be changing equipments next month to help ease the elbow and shoulder pain, but I feel I will be back on track to being most improved at the end of my winter leagues.

158 156 (OUCH) 116 = 430

thanks for your encouragement, it meant alot

Let's here it for consistency...222-147-156=525  I thought it was going to be a nice night.  The ball was rolling smooth and I was "in the zone."  Then comes the 10th frame and a reality check or should I say a sign of things to come.

213 - 201 - 153 = 567
0 CPL
If Debs didn't kick our butts with a 600 last week, I'd think that might have a chance at winning.

I came prepared to bowl last night. Well, at least for the first 2 games.

The only game we won was the second one.

Ruined another perfectly good start on a triplicate, again!  LOL, at least I ruined it right.

163 - 163 - 211 = 537

We needed the win this week in league so I had to step up.  I hope this score helps out the men this week as well.

186-174-213=573

I think some of the peaches charm is rubbing off on me.

My favorite waitress brought me the wrong drink. How she ever forgets is a wonder to me it's always a coke with a lime.  She's a blond but recently dyed her hair red.  Still must be the blond roots showing.  Well she felt bad and gave me a kiss and brought me drink the rest of the night for free. So I guess you can call that a score for a WPL.  The wife was there and she asked why did that waitress kiss you and bring you drinks all night long for free?  I said she wants to get peachnified. LOL.  Maybe I should come up with my own way and change that to say she wants to be a Hollywood Honey.

The lanes were really walled up today.  There was a ton of hold in the middle, strong backends, and dryish outsides -- my favorite condition.

181-258-203 = 642

I'd be happier if I hadn't shot a 495 in my once-a-month league last night (in a tougher house).

Debs

P.S. There's one guy who seeks me out every week to ask how I did.  However, I wouldn't consider it a DPL.

The way I bowled last night leaves me thinking that tonight is going to be a very long night, and Im sure I wont be wanting to post my scores for this coming week.

I have come to bellieve that I am just not meant to do well on these wood lanes, and will simply focus on my game as a whole. Approach, timing, release, and ball placement accuracy. That way when I get back to synthetic lanes I can be ready for more consistant lane conditions, and ball reaction.

Going to get new equipment in the 15# range in a couple weeks, and know that will screw me up even more, but lessons are also in the near future as well.
