Scratch doubles - open to more teams???
« on: August 25, 2007, 06:47:23 AM »
I apologize to those who got left out this year.
Yes - the league DID indeed fill up really fast.
I love running this league, but I have to be honest - I need a bunch of cooperation if we want more teams! There are a few things for discussion.
I don't have a problem keeping stats for more teams. I limited the amount of teams so all teams bowled each other, but since it's just for fun, I can handle more teams. However - there will need to be a couple of changes to the way things have "always been". If everyone is good with the changes, I'm fine with more teams.

0. POST immediately when you know you're going to miss a week. If I hear about it BEFORE you're scheduled to bowl, you get average -10. If I hear about it after, it's the 160 blind.

1. Please report your scores right away. Don't wait. If you bowl on Wednesday, report them on Thursday. It'll make my life easier.

2. I will NOT [under any circumstances accept late scores. If you post later than 5PM BR time on the Monday after the league week, too bad. You get the 160 blind score.  If you can't get on ballreviews for some reason, contact me through www.shirts4bowling.com

3. I will NOT go looking for late scores. Under any circumstances. I will not have time to do so.

4. If you miss posting for two weeks in a row, you're out. No matter what. Your place will be filled by the next person on the list, and you won't be allowed back in this season.

5. Please accept my apologies IN ADVANCE for late postings. It will occasionally happen. I run my business first, then the league.

6. PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH ME ONLY THROUGH THE APPROPRIATE MESSAGE THREAD. PMs are fine for other stuff, but regarding absentee weeks, scores, etc - I'll only pay attention to message threads.

7. Partners - please take some responsibility for your partner's scores. If you see they normally post on Wednesdays, and by Friday, they haven't posted, please contact them and remind them.

Sounds harsh, I know.
I love running this league, but I have to be honest - I need a bunch of cooperation if we want more teams!

Mumzie,

Please put baccala8872 and me on the list if you add more teams.  We participated last year, but apparently did not sign up in time this year.

Thanks for the invite back, but I think I'll pass this year.  Private message me for more information, Mumzie.

If any of you who have posted they needed a partner,
I would like to get involved also and would be glad
to be anybody's partner. Let me know. I have a 216
to 220 average.

Let me know here or PM me.
