179-183-170 = 532

The air conditioning system isn't working, and the sight of mostly middle-aged women sweating up a storm isn't a very pretty one.

My new lighter ball isn't taking out the 5 pin on a consistent basis.  I need more hand!!!  My instincts tell me to not throw it so hard and let it roll, but when I do that, I leave pocket splits.  Bottom line -- I need more hand.

No league last night...we has some monster storms rip through here around 4pm last night (winds clocked as high as 88mph; lots of trees down; roof taken off a local bank and part of a roof taken off the local Lowe's; etc) and the power to the bowling center was knocked out.  I showed up to bowl and a bunch of regulars were sitting around in the dark drinking and playing cards.  After hanging out for about 20 minutes, the power came on about 7:50pm (we were supposed to bowl at 8pm), but since they had already cancelled league, some of us just practiced instead. So, I'll use those scores....246, 232, 232 for 710.

Cranker how prophetic of you. I shot yes 470. You over estimated me.

Oh this is good. The right lane somehow had an oiling problem.
Guy on the other team high rev rate averaging 215 that has had a couple of 800's
could not even wrinkle his Inferno on the lane.
He had 0 strikes all night on lane 1. Lane 2 was the normal house shot. Nice !

So lane 2 I'm using a Sonic X going down and in off the 5 board good reaction.

I try an Apex Addiction drilled 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 box condition on the other lane same line.
Did I just throw my plastic 10 pin ball ?
Ball didn't hook a board. It might have backed up. LOL.

Inside you could move the ball slightly but if you made a target error at all
or a speed or release error it was either miss wide right or thru the head pin.
It played like the flat long shot from hell. I tried every arrow there except the 7th ugh ! I suck.

After bowling I go bowl on another pair that was oiled with the same shot as our league, that no one used and start with the 1st 5. I guess after that awful set my timing just dropped into place.

Strider - How many more weeks do we have ? I only have 4 more left in this league praise be to the FPC.

The only difference between youth and adult leagues are that the big boys are allowed to whine.  They're more entertaining anyway.

236-216-177 = 629.  The only thing worse than my last game was my spare shooting.

Just 5 more pins and I'd have my 1st 600 for the summer.  Oh well maybe I'm saving it for Saturday in Team event for CA Women's State.

212-226-204  642

Two splits and 1 missed 7 pin.  Practicing spares is paying off.  My only clean game was the lowest score.  I lost the left lane and kept getting 8 counts.  I finally doubled in the 8th & 9th before going 8/8 in the 10th.  I had 5 strikes and 6-8 counts.  Crazy game.
