Winter BFDT Signup!

Sign up here to join the winter Bowling Forum Doubles Tournament.  High and low averages are paired together to make evenly matched teams.  Scoring will be both scratch and handicap (80% of 220).  I will need your high book average from this past winter season (summer average is OK if that is all you have).  Last year’s average is used for the first week’s handicap and then discarded.  Your average (and handicap) will change every week based on the scores you turn in.  This is a fun tournament.  We’re playing for fun, so we’re all on the honor system.  Pick one league to use throughout the BFDT.  A second league or tournament score may be used if your primary league is not held (weather, illness, out of town…) for some reason.  Please contact me if you need to substitute for your main league.  Reply here or message me if you have any questions.

Somehow I was coerced into bowling this fall. Put me in coach.
The league is already underway.

My average was either 140 or 203.

Strider you've seen me bowl you decide which average to use

Getting big already.  36 people/18 teams already.  Looks like most everyone will start by the end of this month.  Leaning towards making 8/28 - 9/6 the first week.

John Figueroa and Roocat.  I know what you shot in the BFDT, but please give me your high book from last year in case there is a difference.  Thanks.

I would love to bowl....my book is 210....i need a partner though....My league starts on Auguat 29th and the other on September 2nd. I would like to use the stats from my tuesday night league (9/2) though.

I have to ask, since I have not been in one of these things before.

How does a person report thier scores? via e-mail, or thru a post?
Im sure there are a bunch of other questions for a newby like myself but that is the only one I can come up with at the moment.

Each week Strider will open up a new topic with the dates for the week of this tourney here in this forum and you can post your scores there for all the world to see.  Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes (most of the time for me) that's a bad thing.

Strider:  I'd love to play again if there's still room.  I was 212 last year, and our league will be bowling on Thursdays starting the 4th of September.

We're at an odd number of people again.  Hopefully I can get one more to sign up, then I can assign teams.  Anyone after that point can be added on as time/partners allow.
