change drillin meaning fitting? did u have finger tip or conventional?

u want to increase revs for what? what kind of reaction u r talkin about? how fast do u throw?

those are only a few questions, u have to definitely answer more questions when u want to increase revs, speed, tilt, etc.

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA
for ppl who dont watch TV or want to save the matches this will be great!

The first thing I tell someone who wants to throw with
alot of revs is, stay away from it. I throw with good speed
and alot of revs. I'm getting ready to turn 41 and have already
had 2 operations on my wrist. And a real bad case of carpal
tunnel. If i could change one thing about my game, it would be
to learn how to throw straighter. But it's hard to teach an old
dog new tricks. I have been throwing that way for years.

So, if I were you,(which I'm not) I'd stay away from the big hook.
Trust me, you'll pay for it in the long run.

I'll second David's advise: Revs are not the final solution. Especially as a beginner you get easily caught by envy for crankers who hook the ball across the lane. But if this is not your natural game, I'd hardly recommend not to copy such a style, because it will mostly end in topping the ball, a rather spinning and not very powerful ball with a lower track. This might even look like revs, but is IMHO only effective on light oil.

Instead, I'd recommend you to stay within your natural, relaxed game for starters. With a proper release where the thumb gets out of the ball in time and the hand behind the ball, you will almost automatically generate "enough" revs and develop a more powerful finish on the lanes.

A properly fitting ball will help you with the release and count for some extra revs, but ballwise there is, except for a (too light) ball nothin much to do. It is all in the player's hands and timing

A trainer might be helpful, too, but just do not force the revs issue.

Thanks for the advice.. i actually got some help from another bowler and he said i was breaking my wrist on the upswing.. and my wrist isnt strong enough right now to compensate for it.. o i put on a wrist brace and concentrated on not breaking my wrist.. Walah.. my speed went up from 11 to 15mph.. i got the hook i wanted with my elite balls..and shot a consistant shot in league tonite.. so it was the finger lift thing that i wasnt doing along with the wrist.. thanx for the advice.. i dont wanna be a cranker.. but i dont like the straight shot..
