Hi,
I'm looking for advice to give to a friend on my Sunday fun league team (medium oil house shot) that is wanting to switch from throwing a straight ball to throwing a hook. I've taken him to the lanes and let him throw a few of the stronger balls in my arsenal (Track 916 All Terrain, Track LX-16, Lane 1 Supernova XP), all of which were a little too aggressive for him and he couldn't keep the ball from going brooklyn. I know these are all older balls as I've just gotten back into bowling recently and not as familiar with the current ball market.
He's most comfortable throwing between 12.5 and 14 mph with a medium rev rate and has a smooth arc to his throw.
What would be a good versatile entry level ball to recommend to him for his first ball purchase?
