I need a ball that goes long with a strong backend. Anyone have any suggestions.

That's what anyone would ask for...

It really depends. A ball that will fill that bill technically would be a pearl reactive with med to high RG and a med+ RG differential. Balls that come to my mind are the Rampage from Brunswick or Ebonite's SR300. The Hammer Doom is another option that comes to my mind, but there are many more. All work well on medium conditions. If in doubt, go to a pro shop, have youtr game watched and let them make a recommendation based on what they see. Will be more helpful than a forum suggestion.

Legends Black Pearl(particle pearl) or Lane Masters Big Bang(particle); that being said, you didn't state the conditions/pattern that you wanted it for, whether you wanted reactive or particle, and anything about your style or stats, so this is a geberal reply to a very general question.
BTW, FWIW and IMHO, each manufacturer has a ball that "fits the bill" ... I just share the one's that I have used from the line that I currently roll.

Everybody wants "go long and snap hard".  What oil conditions?  What type of line do you prefer to play?  What line do you want to play with this ball?  Describe your style, how much speed or revs do you have?

I throw about 15 to 16 mph 15 boards in on medium to heavy oil. I have an lite r47 it goes it's good for light to medium oils but heavy oil doesn't do to well.

I would suggest the Rotogrip Epic Saga.

I wouldn't go that route. THe Epic Saga is amazing on mediums and nothing more. I would suggest you look at the Black Widow.

My No Mercy is great on med/heavy, Toxic kicks on (lighter side of) heavy/med, it's all in how you set it up, layout, cover, JMO.

Note: Toxic is not a heavy oil ball, so if you think you'd use it on pure heavy, it's not the ball you are looking for.

if you already have a Black Widow for heavy oil..maybe you should look into a surface adjustment or polishing the ball.
why don't you like the BW?
