As a broad hint I'd suggest a low RG ball with a solid reactive or particle surface, sheen or matte finish. Not a polished pearl (might not finish well for him) - but this is only a rough direction. It also depends on the oil volume this ball is supposed to work on.
Balls that come to my mind could be the Double and Special Agent, Frankie May Gryphon, maybe a Fury, an Overtime or Big Time, a One. The options are plenty.
