Upgrade Ball
« on: September 19, 2004, 09:22:18 AM »
I am noy so much a new bowler as I am just starting to get really serious about it.  I currently use a Storm El Nino 2000 and carry about 175 - 180 average.  I am ready to step up and try to get to the 200 level and want to ge a new ball.  The house I bowl in is wood lanes and the oil is good hard a hard snapping backend.  I have seen me ball come back from the 4 board to the pocket.  I only throw about 17 - 18 mph, med revs, and start lined up on the head pin or slightly left of it.  My aiming target is between the 1st and 2nd arrows.  Can anyone guide me to a new ball?

Thanks

As said MANY MANY times before on this site, and I gaurentee it will be said again. Before you go buying a new ball that you think will make you average 200+, it wont. Spend the money on a few coaching lessons. It will be a MUCH bigger help then getting a new ball, trust me. If you dont trust me, ask anyone else!

SuperCharge, I disagree. I think getting a new ball is merely a confidence booster, UNLESS, your throwing a ball that is totally dead. UFRich, I apologize for hi-jacking your post also.
