thumb callous
« on: March 01, 2005, 09:45:36 AM »
My thumb is developing a rather large callous on the index finger side,
and it swells profusely at times.
What can I do to get rid of the callous?

I have the same problem. Sometimes the skin rips too. What you should do is have the thumb hole plugged and redrilled with it pitched more toward the side that the callous is on. I'm doing this now, and will try it for the first time on thursday.

my thumg is usually fine even after a couple of weeks bowling 20+ games each, but my middle finger has alot of skin off of it. on about my second game my middle finger will start bleeding and everytime a scab starts to come and heal it, it is time for league again, and since i bowl at least twice a week there is no time for it to heal. any suggestions?
