Title: Hurt wrist
Post by: jchop on March 22, 2004, 10:12:44 AM
Hi, I have been bowling for about a 1 1/2 years now with a 14# Columbia 300 ball.  I am a hook bowler.  I recently purchased a Wow Pearl 15 #.  Since bowling with the new ball, my thumb, wrist, and forearm are sore.  Is this normal for moving up in weight?

Unless you're very petite or young, one more pound shouldn't be a big problem.  More than likely they messed up your span or pitches.  Maybe your hand changed and they're working off an old drill sheet?  Have a good proshop remeasure your hand and see if they think the ball is drilled right for you.
