Title: I need help.

Hmmm, the problem that I'm facing now is that I tend to slow down in my down swing, which kills my ball speed. Anyone faced such a problem before? I really want to increase my ball speed, but I can't seem to change. I thought it was because my hand was "waiting" for my legs to get into position before releasing, which means I've got a slow approach, but fast armswing. But after changing my steps and increasing my armswing, I still tend to slow down. Do you think it's because of a fear or hesitation to throw the ball down the lane? I've just started bowling for around 4 months, and average at around 140. Can anyone help me, any help would really be appreciated.

You MAY be muscling the ARM in the backswing, KILLING the pendulum effect.  Not REALLY sure.  Get a COACH.
