Looking for advice?
« on: October 05, 2010, 07:33:16 AM »
I would consider myself nothing more than an average league bowler, my avg usually around 180. My question is somewhat involved so please bear with me.I started fall league great for me, shot my first 650, avging 190's in both leagues felt it was time for more coaching to get me to that next level. Coach is cert and PBA titlist seems very good, I have had other coaches. Mostly worked on timing and keeping swing in line and getting out at the bottom of my swing. Its been several weeks and I have been getting worse by the week, had 2 games this week barely broke 100. I am trying to stay focused and not look for more bad habits to crutch my game with but it is hard, I watch others bowl with every bad habit im avoiding, getting my behind handed to me. How do I get out of my head and relax? I cant seem to relax untill I give up and then my scores go up. I know its a strange question but most of you seem to be very good bowlers and I assume at one time you felt this way.
