Looking to expand my bag
« on: February 20, 2020, 08:49:34 PM »
I currently use a roto grip no rules exist and my main ball. Works 80% of the time but some nights the lanes are a little too much oil and a little less oil. I am a down and in bowler not a cranker. I was looking for some suggestions on a slightly harder hooking ball and a slightly less hooking ball. For the less hooking i was thinking a roto grip hustle ink. For a more hooking ball im not sure tho. Any info would be awesome. Thanks

What do you mean by harder hooking?  You mean more overall hook or more snappy hook on the back end?  Want more information though.  What is your ball speed mainly?

Going from the Exist to an INK is quite the drop in cover strength. Not sure I would go that far down. An Idol Pearl might be the better bet.

As for something that goes a little harder that shouldn't be too difficult. The Exist is a really smooth ball with a gradual move to the pocket. The PhysiX, Halo Vision, UFO, or Omega Crux would do the trick if you're not looking for the long-and-strong pearls. Basically anything high-end in the Storm/Roto lineup besides the SPEC covers.

My ball speed is around 15mph. Not a high rev count. Something for when the lanes get oilly. Has a little more snap on it. The exist on oilly doesnt have much. Thank you
