just very recently began bowling regularly and enjoy it enough for my girlfriend and i to join a league. i also bought a used storm flash point and began to learn to hook the ball.
i've always been a big believer in seeking help from those that are able to teach and found bowling to be no different, so i scheduled a lesson with ray muir, one of the local pros.
the biggest change we made was going from 5 steps to 4. i feel much more balanced and consistent with the 4. we addressed some minor push away issues, and i'm rolling the ball with more rev's and consistency than before.
i don't expect miracles from just one lesson, that's for sure, but it sure makes things more enjoyable and speeds the learning process to have competent instruction.
i'll keep you posted -

GOOD way to go.

Its also a lot easier to learn to do things right when you start out. Lot harder to try and change bad habits later on.
Keep up the lessons.
