Title: New bowler.. problem with his release
Post by: Skins on August 14, 2004, 04:40:52 PM
Hey guys, I'm new at bowling (i started 5 months ago). And I've got a problem with my release. You see, I've learn that when you release your hand has to reach by your ear. Well when I release, I end up twisting my wrist to the right and not bringing up my hand. I bowl a decent game with it. I've tried to do it like it should be, but I can't seem to do it. When I do, my shoulders hurts(dislocation---- injury from years back). And with the way I trow it, it hooks like a lefty's ball (left to right). I wonder i it is OK to bowl like this or should I try changing? I've even tried a glove.. it doesnt work.

Can anyone help me with this poblem????

Skins -- Not without being there in person.  You need to find a good coach and work with him.  --  JohnP
