I know how to find a PAP but what exactley is that telling me, and how would I use my PAP to decide what kind of ball reaction I would want.

PAP doesn't tell you anything other than the point that drillings should be based on.
It doesn't say anything about what type of reaction you might want either.
A better indicator is Track Diameter/Axis Tilt
To find tilt measure your TD and for every inch less than 13.5 you have 6 2/3° of tilt.
Knowing TD/AT really helps when trying to decide what layout or ball would work well for given condition.
A bowler with a higher AT/smaller TD will need a stronger drilling/ball then another bowler with lower AT/larger TD if bowling on the same condition and line.

STORM TRACK

If you get caught in the Storm Track beware it could be a Typhoon or Monsoon with Rolling Thunder and Lightning Flashes that when Unleashed may send splintered Wood flying everywhere.
