BTS, I believe what killer is trying to say is the offset drilling is one where your thumb is offset to the left for a righty and to the right for a lefty.  Instead of the traditional "T" shape the fingers and thumb make when drilled the thumbhole is moved therefore looking like these 2 pics below:

Regular T Drilling
....o...o

......o..

Now here is the offset picture:

....o...o

.....o...

Instead of the thumb being directly under the two fingers it favors more on the side of your middle finger.  I currently use a 1/2 inch left offset.  It supposedly gets the ball of your hand cleaner and trust me it does.

Ahhh...I see.....See I wasn't even think about that. In that case its up to his driller and him to see if his thumb needs to be offset to fit better.  Thanks for pointing me in a different direction.

I agree with Ike not only does it come off cleaner but it sits in your palm better giving me better roll and revs. If you have never tried this it is like having a wrist gaurd that presets your ball in your hand, if you try it you will love and most likely get rid of your wrist gaurd if you use one.
