Selecting a ball
« on: January 30, 2008, 11:11:32 PM »
I have a pearl black widow that i love.  Looking for one great ball to go with it.  I am considering the hammer solid black widow, the cell, the complete nv, or anything else.  I bowl mainly on a medium house shot with oil about 38-40 feet

You may want to add what you want the new ball to do different from the pearl, such as what conditions you want it for, how is the pearl drilled, etc. I'm assuming you are looking for something stronger than the pearl, as you mentioned two fairly strong pieces. More information will probably result in getting more and better feedback on your request.

Looking for a solid ball to compliment the bwp.  I throw about 16 mph with medium revs.

I believe any of the three you mentioned would work well. Depending on how the pearl is set up, I would probably recommend a stronger/earlier rolling drill for the solid.
Good luck with your decision.
