you are wrong about shooty trimming,  he takes 5 steps so if he moves the ball exactly when he starts his feet the ball will arrive @ the foul line ahead of him. on a 5 step approach you move the ball when you take your 2nd step. that will help your timing.

I agree completely with the timing issues, start the ball exactly with your second step.  And free the swing up if all possible, you really muscle the ball down to the release point.

After those issues are tackled, there is a lot of extra hand a wrist movement throughout the swing, just keep your hand in the desired position, and above all stay relaxed.  Also your balance at the line is a little funky.  You seem to be leaning to your right, and not centered, which also causes you to move your slide foot all around.

Overall, you have a great feel, and look comfortable.  There is some great potential, and a lot of the basics are already there.  Keep listening to the guys on here, they will help you loads.  And if you don't own one already, get a plastic ball.

Thanks for the responses so far. My timing does concern me the most. It is usually the difference between a 200 avg for the night when things aren't working right consistently or getting near the 700 mark on a regular basis. I usually pull the swing through to catch up with my feet. Would you suggest i lengthen my approach a few feet(if you notice I'm up at the front dots) in an attempt to free up my swing a bit and allow my body to catch up? If i think about bending my knee more at the line my balance improves tremendously, but many times I'm just on auto -pilot

I know from experience when i redid my approach and started over to fix my timing and improve (not enough as of yet i must say) I moved back on the approach a bit and worked on just pushing the ball away and letting it swing, it took quite a while to regain any ball speed but in time I got my swing much more free and consistent and now am seeing all of the perks as things are falling into place.

I don't know if i'd really change to much if your having success but to build consistency i'd work with a coach, its just easier to have someone there in person to physically help you and work you through step by step.

you may want to move back if you are going to add a slide with the knee bend. but for now work on letting the ball drop on your second step and letting it drop from the top of your back swing, don't pull down.
only work on one thing at a time!
