Here I am.  Criticize away.

On edit:  Pardon the jumpy video.  My 12-year-old was holding the camera.

Good assessment.  I've got "loosen arm-swing" on my list of things to practice this summer.  From pushaway to downswing I'm good.  Everything after that is a crapshoot.

What's to criticize?  Looks fine to me.  The only thing I could detect was that you throw the ball with the wrong hand.  Other than that was good bowling.

I was about to make the wrong-hand comment too...

Looks good. My main comment is that you look a little rigid in your movements, possibly need to work on fluidity a little, getting the phases of the approach to knit together better.

Same as the previous poster about the armswing, which looks really good until it gets behind you, when there seems to be a desire to manufacture a swing rather than letting it develop. It does create a little out-in swing though, which is not  necessarily a bad thing if you can repeat it. That said, I would try and avoid unnecessary movements, especially in the swing.

I don't think repeatability is a problem: I averaged 228 or so since the midseason break with a 300 and multiple 700 series in that time.  I'm really just looking to refine the smaller points of my game; I think finding a way to be a little more upright at the line and freeing up the swing a bit are at the top of my list.  I'm also concerned about the occasionally loose elbow at release, something that causes me to wrap around the ball.

Ron C. (Magic Carpet) also thinks I should speed up the approach.  That's something I'm aware of but don't always do like I should.  As one can see in the vid, I'm a little slow on the approach.  I suppose I've watched too much Patrick Allen...

Thanks for your input, Anglo.

wow, very impressive form!  The only thing I noticed was your armswing does come behind your back a bit, if you can control it it's not a detriment though, and control seems to be the name of your game!
