Everything looks pretty good except IMO you get the ball just a bit to far behind you at the top of the swing. Also, lose the the capries

For starts, his timing is one full step late. Fender, you use a five step approach, which means your ball should be moving in time with your SECOND step. You do not do this. What you do is take two steps and get the ball moving on your THIRD step. For proper timing, you need to push the ball away as you start your second step.

There's nothing wrong with getting the ball moving at the end of the second step or start of the third. Chris Barnes, Paul Fleming do it to name a few as well as myself. I think getting the ball into the swing eariler than what he does may cause his feet to get a little faster. It's just a opinion, oh well!

in my opinion everything looks nice a smooth, maybe a bit less elbow, but excellent wrist action and balance. also creating that flat spot at the bottom of the swing is something i would desire

If I move the ball on my first step, then I move my feet faster.
I've noticed, that I must let the ball closer to my sliding foot, that's a problem...
Is it ok, that on finish I'm not perpendicular to the foul line?
APheLion, what do you mean "flat spot at the bottom of the swing" ?

the ball is fine at the top of the backswing. he is presetting the angle of his hips and shoulders in his set up. thats what pushed the ball to that angle in the backswing. his swing is more inside/out which it has to be for most anybody to play that angle. i bet it doesnt creep in when he squares up .

In the high-speed camera shots, your release looks more like a full-roller.

Also, way way way way way too much flexion in the elbow on release. It looks like you're trying to create power and revs by straightening the elbow, rather that loading/unloading at the wrist. That type of release will tend to make your speed and revs more variable than is ideal, not to mention that you increase the chance of tendonitis in your elbow.

You also look like you're hitting the ball pretty firmly at the point fo release, which leaves you nowhere to go if you need more hook.
